I was so lucky to have been referred to Porter Home Care Services! Before meeting the owner, Markita, I absolutely could not imagine having anyone else but my husband and myself take care of my father-in-law. Markita set us at such ease during the initial consult when she met with our family to organize and set up services. Markita came to us at a crucial time when our previously extremely independent elderly Marine needed additional care/assistance due to dementia. Markita suggested ways to help which we could have never imagined. She has been so caring, understanding, and also so informative, with extremely quick responses to address any of our questions/concerns. We were blessed once again when our Porter Home Care Services home health aide arrived. We could not have found a more perfect fit for my father-in-law and us. It seemed like Markita, hand-picked her for us. The home health aide, Schqina, has been phenomenal!!! I cannot praise her enough! Schqina jumped in and began working the second she got there, but also did so in a way that showed respect for my father-in-law, allowing him to keep his dignity and some independence. The entire time she was getting to know him and figuring out ways to offer additional assistance without stepping on his toes or crowding his space. Schqina earned his trust in just a day and helped him to accept assistance which he had originally resisted. Schqina was super attentive to my father-in-law's needs. She has chosen the right field as a caregiver, because she has such a big heart and treats her clients as if they are family, while being totally professional. I truly felt as if he had family watching over him, which allowed me to step back and take care of my child and family. These two truly helped our family during a time of crisis. I would highly recommend Porter Home Care Services to anyone who wants only the best for their family member!!!!

Without a doubt the best home health care I’ve had the pleasure of being associated with. Compared to the 3 previous home health care providers I have used, Porter health care is head and shoulders above the the previous 3. Porter Home Health Services has been an absolute lifesaver for my family during a really difficult time to care for an elderly parent. I highly recommend working with this home health services-- very professional, compassionate, trustworthy, and responsive. Markita B. the administrator lead has been amazingly responsive, professional, organized, and compassionate to our family. She has answered all our questions (since this is all new to us) and helped us navigate getting care as soon as possible in place for an aging parent with medical needs. Ashley the home health aide for my father has been truly incredible-- a calm, compassionate, trustworthy, highly skilled, and kind-hearted highly professional caregiver and great listener who helped our family during a time of crisis. Ashley has been proactive, thoughtful, and super on top of our parent's care. We feel blessed to work with this team. Highly recommend without hesitation!

When I put in the need for care for my dad, they were the first ones to call. They promptly came to my home and evaluated my dads needs and had a caregiver in my home the next day. My caregiver, Tallon, is very kind and compassionate and best of all knowledgeable of what my dad needed. After one day she already feels like part of our family and we’re blessed to have her.
